Who we are

Blakelock Architects was founded in 2020 by Chris Blakelock, R.A. Chris has been practicing Architecture for over 27 years, 21 of which were at Cecil Baker + Partners (now CBP Architects) where he led as a Partner. A member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB), Chris has been trained in Passive House and sustainable design. He has served on the Board of the Philadelphia Chapter of the AIA and co-founded the AIA L+I Committee. Chris is registered in the states of Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, and Connecticut.

Chris puts the needs of the client first and values strong client relationships and successful outcomes regardless of the project scale.
